How Infor Won Tech Talent with HackerRank & Lever

Infor, a cloud business-software company with about 16,000 employees serving over 90,000 customers, was losing candidates to a fragmented hiring process and had no consistent way to evaluate developer skills. Reliance on emailed Word documents and unit-specific assessments created a poor candidate experience, high dropoff, low conversion to onsite interviews, and difficulty matching applicants to the right roles.

By integrating HackerRank with the Lever ATS, Infor moved to automated, IDE-based coding assessments and resume/LinkedIn parsing to streamline applications, standardize evaluations, and prioritize top candidates. The change cut dropoff from 38% to 17%, shortened time-to-decision from 23 to 12 business days (a 30–50% faster cycle), increased completed applications, and improved accuracy in skill matching.
