DoorDash, the food delivery company, needed to scale university hiring quickly while keeping a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates during the shift to remote work in 2020. HackerRank implemented HackerRank Interview and related assessment workflows to automate screening, improve candidate experience, and reduce bias by focusing on skills-based evaluation. The result was faster, more scalable hiring: DoorDash said its university hiring goals doubled year over year while the time to recruit candidates was cut in half, with HackerRank also providing data to refine assessments and improve fairness.
