A Guru Case Study
Wrike, a work management and collaboration platform, needed a single, easy-to-use internal knowledge base so content creators (like Stephanie Westbrook) and content consumers in sales and support could find and maintain information without leaving their workflows. Using Slack as an informal stopgap and their own product as a makeshift KB created access, clutter, and account-switching problems, so Wrike selected Guru as their knowledge management solution to address those gaps.
Guru was rolled out with its verification engine, browser extension, Boards, and Slackbot, plus internal “Guru wizards” and onboarding materials to drive adoption. As a result, Wrike saw significantly fewer Slack questions, faster access to accurate answers in reps’ workflows, measurable content usage for marketing, and sustained adoption tracked via weekly active users and weekly search volume—outcomes that improved productivity across the organization.
