To do this, Reserva partnered with Gupshup and used its Conversation Cloud to support WhatsApp-based conversational marketing, click-to-WhatsApp acquisition campaigns, and utility messages for order updates.
With Gupshup, Reserva launched targeted WhatsApp campaigns triggered by Vtex eCommerce events, used cohort-based messaging from stores, and added a Gen AI-powered virtual sales assistant for personalized product recommendations. The results included 7X ROI from online sales attributed to WhatsApp marketing, up to 46X ROI on abandoned-cart nudges, 4X engagement lift, 81.8% higher open rates, and over 2K leads generated from Click-to-WhatsApp ads.
