Pocari Sweat, the Singapore isotonic drink brand, faced the challenge of growing sales in a category dominated by 100 Plus, which held more than 50% market share and occupied prime shelf space. To help address this plateaued growth, GumGum was used to support a campaign built around a new mobile-led brand experience.
GumGum helped Pocari Sweat create a mobile app that let runners plan custom routes and collect tokens at 7-Eleven hydration stops to play a bingo-style rewards game. Promoted through mobile ads, roadshows, and running events, the campaign delivered 144% year-to-date growth in the first month and averaged 59% sales growth over the three-month campaign period.
