FIGR, a Canadian high-quality cannabis brand, needed to drive quality site traffic while meeting strict age, geo and brand-safety requirements. To address this, FIGR partnered with GumGum and used GumGum’s Verity™ contextual targeting technology to align ads with cannabis-related content across premium, brand-safe inventory.

GumGum deployed Verity™ (flight 5/19/20–10/31/20), targeting Adults 25+ in specific Canadian provinces, retargeting landing-page visitors and running In‑Screen/In‑Screen Frame creatives. The campaign delivered strong, measurable results: 93.83% viewability (vs. 53.8% benchmark), a 1.13% CTR (≈10x the 0.12% benchmark) and 38.18% mobile engagement (≈3x the 12.2% benchmark), successfully driving high-quality traffic for FIGR.
