TD Insurance, part of the TD Bank Group and Canada’s largest direct‑to‑consumer home and auto insurer, has been on a multi‑year business transformation to improve operational performance and the customer claims experience. Having used Guidewire ClaimCenter since 2008 and added core operations, data, analytics, and digital engagement components, TDI needed to accelerate its transformation while reducing the burden of undifferentiated IT responsibilities that limited business agility.

To do that, TDI is migrating its Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications to Guidewire Cloud (hosted on AWS) with SLAs and managed services from Guidewire and certified partners. The move—starting with ClaimCenter in 2019—shifts infrastructure, upgrades, security, and operational tasks to Guidewire, freeing TD Insurance to focus on serving customers, driving business objectives, and accelerating its transformation to become a more agile, trusted insurer.
