Southern Trust Insurance Company, founded in 1968 and based in Macon, Georgia, provides personal and commercial insurance through independent agents across Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Facing an aging system landscape that complicated policy processing, agent and policyholder interactions, and business intelligence, the insurer sought a modern, scalable platform to support growth and improve operational efficiency.

Southern Trust selected Guidewire InsuranceNow and will begin implementing its all‑in‑one functionality for Business Owners Policy (BOP) in South Carolina, with other states and lines to follow, hosted on Amazon Web Services. The move is expected to reduce the number of systems to support, streamline policy servicing, improve access to books of business, enable stronger business intelligence, and provide the scalability and continuity needed to expand into new markets.
