Rosgosstrakh (RGS), Russia’s largest insurer with RUB 44.1 billion in gross written premium and a network of over 3,000 branches covering all 89 regions, needed to modernize and standardize claims handling across a vast, multi-time-zone footprint. As part of a multi-year transformation to global standards, RGS sought a scalable, configurable solution to improve consistency, visibility and customer service while reducing operating costs and training time.

RGS implemented Guidewire ClaimCenter, initially in a six-month rollout and then across more than 400 claim centres, putting a single, paperless claims system in the hands of 5,000+ users across 11 time zones. The deployment delivered consistent processes, real-time higher-quality claims data, centralized shared services, shorter adjuster training and lower costs, and reduced simple-claim settlement time to one day—substantially improving operational efficiency and customer service.
