QBE Insurance Australia, part of global insurer QBE Group, operates across 30+ offices nationwide offering a broad range of commercial, personal and workers’ compensation products. Facing a rapidly changing insurance market, the business needed to modernize core systems and data capabilities to deliver more flexible products, accurate pricing and a better customer experience.

To meet that challenge QBE deployed Guidewire’s InsuranceSuite, Rating Management, Client Data Management, DataHub, InfoCenter and the Quote and Buy Portal, covering underwriting, rating, policy administration, claims, billing, data management and self‑service quoting. The implementation strengthened direct data management and business intelligence, enabled flexible product and pricing delivery, and improved customer engagement and self‑service capabilities.
