PZU, the oldest and leading Polish insurer with strong market shares in non-life and life insurance, needed a next-generation platform to modernize non-life sales, underwriting, policy administration and billing as part of its long-term “Everest” transformation and PZU 3.0 strategy. The challenge was to reshape business processes and IT architecture at scale to support further growth and improve customer experience across all sales channels.

PZU implemented Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter plus Guidewire Rating Management, Reinsurance Management and Client Data Management between 2012 and 2016, creating a platform used by over 30,000 users. The rollout standardized processes, modernized IT, and materially improved service delivery and competitiveness—strengthening PZU’s market leadership and customer experience.
