GuideOne Insurance is a specialist North American commercial-lines insurer serving churches, faith‑based organizations, senior living and healthcare centers, and nonprofits. Facing aggressive growth targets and previous failed modernization attempts, GuideOne needed a flexible, faster way to launch and manage new products and speed time-to-market across multiple states.
GuideOne implemented Guidewire PolicyCenter with Rating Management, Client Data Management and Guidewire Standards Based Templates (with Guidewire Professional Services and PwC), using a phased, agile rollout starting with workers’ compensation. The SBT-driven project went live for 32 workers’ comp states on time and under budget, cut LOB implementation effort by 30%, enabled a fully deployed line of business across most states, and positioned the company to shorten quoting cycles, improve data quality, scale more easily, and continue rolling out BillingCenter and digital portals.
