With no single place to access claim-related information, its consultants were overwhelmed by application files, scanned paper, faxes, emails, images, and other documents, slowing claims work and making it hard to get a complete view of each case.
Guidewire and Hyland’s OnBase were used to integrate and manage this content directly within ClaimCenter. The solution gave FMG a single interface for claims data and related documents, automated capture and linking of content, and improved access for consultants. As a result, FMG reported 90% time savings in claims processing, 90% savings in reviewing and retrieving claims documents, 45% faster photo capture and classification, 100% savings for policyholder correspondence, a 230% ROI, and a 1.6-year payback, with a five-year net benefit of NZ$2.3 million.
