Elephant Insurance, a Richmond, VA–based direct-to-consumer auto insurer founded in 2009 and part of Admiral Group, set out to modernize its policy system after implementing Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter. The company needed a platform that would boost customer service, enable stronger underwriting risk analysis, and provide the flexibility to support future growth.

Elephant went live with Guidewire PolicyCenter as part of the broader Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, Guidewire Digital, and Live Analytics). The implementation gave Elephant improved customer-service capabilities, better underwriting insights, and greater agility to grow, with initial benefits already realized and the ability to communicate with and serve customers according to their preferences.
