CNA, the seventh-largest commercial insurance writer in the U.S., offers a broad range of commercial and specialty property & casualty products and services across the Americas. Seeking to modernize and streamline operations, CNA launched its Claims End Game Solutions initiative in 2002 to improve claims processing and to deepen agency relationships while increasing underwriting accuracy and efficiency.

CNA implemented Guidewire PolicyCenter for end-to-end underwriting and policy administration—with agent-facing submission and agency system integrations—and selected Guidewire ClaimCenter as the new web-based front-end claims system for its intuitive UI, modern architecture, and business-rules-driven customizability. The combined solution enhanced underwriting accuracy and operational efficiency, strengthened agent collaboration, and positioned CNA to improve claims processes and customer service.
