The California Insurance Guarantee Association (CIGA) is a statutorily created organization that pays claims of insolvent insurers in California across three funds (workers’ compensation, personal lines, and other commercial lines). Facing highly fragmented claims adjudication processes and the need to onboard new insolvencies, CIGA sought a flexible, scalable claims management system that could standardize workflows, convert existing claims from multiple sources, and support more than 1,000 claims handlers across multiple locations.
