AMERIND Risk is the only 100% tribally owned and operated insurer, serving more than 400 Native American tribes across 36 states with employee benefits, property, liability, and workers’ compensation coverage under the mission “Tribes Protecting Tribes.” Rapid growth and a unique portfolio of policies strained an aging, home‑grown core system that was costly to maintain, labor‑intensive to operate, and unable to scale or support increasingly complex endorsements and product expansion.

AMERIND replaced its legacy platform with Guidewire InsuranceNow, a cloud‑based, end‑to‑end policy, billing, and claims solution, rolling out homeowners and renters in under 12 months and now extending to commercial lines and a large Indian Housing Block Program. The new system automated underwriting and claims, freed IT from maintenance to focus on product management, enabled new coverages and remote access, and helped grow the book of business by about 70% while improving efficiency and customer service.
