Warrior Sports, a wholesale lacrosse equipment brand, needed a way to drive and track more in-store visits to support its retail partners and convert mobile marketing into real-world sales. To tackle this, they worked with GroundTruth and used its Ads Manager location-based advertising platform and Audience Targeting tools — including Visit Optimization, Behavioral Audience Targeting, and Location-Based Audience Targeting — to reach shoppers likely to visit stores carrying their products.
GroundTruth ran a month-long activation that shifted optimization from delivery to visits, combining visit-optimized bidding and behavioral/location-based targeting to reach consumers most likely to convert at specific retailers. The campaign delivered measurable impact — a 33% increase in in-store visits versus the prior campaign, with a significant portion of visits occurring in the weeks after ad exposure, demonstrating clear lift for Warrior Sports’ retail partners.
