Toast relies on Report Builder to power their talent acquisition operations

Toast is a technology suite powering modern restaurants, used for online ordering and point-of-sale across hundreds of cities. During a period of rapid hiring, Toast’s TA Ops team — led by Lori Busch — needed reliable analytics to track hiring progress, but Greenhouse’s previous reporting forced them to cobble together multiple reports and rely on lagging Looker exports to get the missing data.

In October 2020 Toast adopted Greenhouse’s Report Builder, an intuitive, drag-and-drop reporting tool with a broad range of fields, filters and auto-refreshing dashboards. The team can now pull custom reports on demand to track funnel time, time-to-hire and source conversion, onboard quickly to the tool, and save at least two hours per week previously spent exporting and stitching data.
