Okta, a San Francisco–based identity provider with over 5,000 employees, faced the challenge of scaling recruitment and hiring processes to keep pace with rapid business growth (revenue +56% year-over-year in FY22). The company needed to hire large volumes of high-quality talent quickly while giving recruiters and hiring managers better visibility and control over requisitions and candidate pipelines.
Okta deployed Greenhouse Enterprise (Recruiting, Onboarding, CRM), built custom dashboards via Greenhouse APIs, automated communications and offer/onboarding tasks, and integrated CRM outreach with Marketo. The implementation enabled a five- to six-fold increase in annual hiring capacity, improved key hiring KPIs (offer acceptance, onsite-to-offer, apply-to-offer days), saved about 25 hours per recruiter per year, sped acquisition integration to ~6 weeks, and delivered an IDC-calculated $2.27 in benefits for every $1 spent in 2022.
