Greenhouse, the leading hiring platform, partnered with Navan (an all‑in‑one expense management company) to solve a common challenge: connecting Greenhouse to the rest of Navan’s recruiting and hiring workflows so candidate, job, and organization data stays accurate and up to date. Integrating systems like Greenhouse and downstream tools required streamlining key workflows, avoiding data discrepancies, and addressing change management around how jobs and openings are managed.

Navan built the Harvest API integration using Workato, automating three core workflows (opening a new job, updating an open job, and closing an open job), rolling it out in phases with continuous stakeholder feedback, and training teams to ease adoption. The result was an 80% reduction in manual data entry for recruiters, roughly 1,226 hours saved per year across job openings, approvals, and reconciliation, fewer data discrepancies, and improved headcount forecasting.
