DonorsChoose is a nonprofit that funds classroom projects nationwide and is committed to educational equity. As the organization grew, its People & Talent team struggled to align hiring with that mission: data on candidate demographics lived in disparate places, reporting was manual and slow, and inconsistent interviewing processes made bias harder to control.

Using Greenhouse’s DE&I feature set—custom demographic reporting, structured interview kits and scorecards, anonymized take-home tests with rubrics, and in-the-moment nudges—DonorsChoose gained on-demand visibility into its hiring funnel and standardized hiring practices.
