O2 Telefonica wanted to update its digital in-store advertising system with programmatic features to deliver more relevant content to customers as part of a new store concept rollout. The challenge was determining how and when to display this attractive content across their retail locations. To address this, they worked with Grassfish and utilized the existing Grassfish IXM Platform as a foundation.
The solution involved creating a programmatic content playback concept connected to the Grassfish platform, which was then integrated into nearly 62 stores. This approach allowed Telefonica to centrally manage and transfer targeted content to displays, minimizing scattering loss and ensuring content was tailored to specific audiences. Grassfish provided a rollout-ready and scalable programmatic solution that formed a stable basis for the company's innovative digital in-store development.
