A Granicus Case Study
The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) wanted to modernize its operations and become easier to do business with, but it had been relying on paper-based processes, in-person meetings, and manual consultations that were time-consuming for staff and stakeholders. Working with Granicus, including its Digital Engagement Platform, the OEB set out to digitize interactions, improve efficiency, and support Ontario’s digital government goals.
Granicus helped the Ontario Energy Board launch Engage with Us, a redesigned OEB.ca, electronic filing tools, an Intervenor Cost Claims Portal, and other online resources that streamlined services and reduced duplication, paper, and processing time. The results included 37 hosted projects, 28 active projects, 480+ registered participants, 48,000+ all-time unique visits, and a 36% informed/engaged visitor rate, helping Granicus and the OEB deliver faster, more transparent, and more accessible services.
