The City of Auburn, Alabama — a fast-growing, tech-savvy college town of about 78,000 — needed a better way to handle increasing public service requests as its population grew faster than staff capacity. City leaders sought a modern, user-friendly solution to let residents report issues digitally without disrupting existing staff workflows.
Auburn implemented govService OneView to build the Auburn FixIt app, integrating ESRI maps and customizable reporting tools. Since launch the app has been downloaded 2,915 times, handled 1,531 requests in the last year, achieved a 96% response rate, and completes requests in an average of six days.
