A Granicus Case Study
Alberta Health Services launched Together4Health in 2018 to give Albertans an easy way to take part in health projects and initiatives. Faced with the challenge of creating culturally respectful connections—particularly to engage Indigenous communities and AHS staff during National Indigenous Peoples’ Month and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation—AHS needed a virtual approach that could broaden reach and support sustained dialogue.
Using Granicus’ EngagementHQ, the AHS team organized themed content, leveraged analytics, and scaled many concurrent projects to drive participation. The platform supported 100+ projects and 300,000+ site visits, with 7,000+ registered participants and 3,750 online-session attendees in a three-month span; during June 2020 alone the Indigenous-focused project page saw 3,200+ visits, 60+ document downloads, and 441 online-session participants.
