How Ada County Highway District improved engagement with digital solutions

Ada County Highway District (ACHD) oversees more than 5,000 miles of roads and bridges in Idaho and prioritizes public safety and community input. Facing disjointed processes and separate, non‑integrated survey tools, ACHD needed to modernize its online engagement to better connect with residents and streamline internal workflows.

Working with Granicus and the Granicus Experience Group, ACHD implemented govAccess, govDelivery and EngagementHQ to create a unified engagement site. The new tools improved user experience and staff efficiency and drove measurable gains — nearly 160,000 site visits, more than 11,000 feedback contributions, a 75.6% engagement rate, and 52% subscriber growth in the past year.
