Dodge County, Wisconsin faced the challenge of modernizing citizen services and improving communication for a rural population with uneven broadband access, especially during the pandemic. Working with Granicus and its govAccess platform, the county set out to create a more responsive, efficient website that could better serve residents and staff.
Granicus helped Dodge County redesign its website, improve content organization, and expand self-service tools, forms, and digital communications across about 30 departments. The result was greater transparency, fresher information, easier publishing for staff, and stronger engagement, including almost 3,000 vaccine interest form responses and more than 1,000 open records requests submitted through the website.
