How Prospera Mastered Effective Training for a Distributed Client Base

Prospera Financial Services, a Dallas-based broker-dealer supporting over 130 independent financial advisors across 23 states, faced a costly and time-consuming training challenge: how to provide ongoing, one-on-one and group training for users of its COREngine CRM/practice management system without frequent onsite visits. To solve this, Prospera selected GoTo and its tools—GoTo Meeting, GoTo Webinar and GoToMyPC—to scale virtual training and remote access.

Prospera used GoTo Meeting for weekly Office Hours and one-on-one coaching (integrated with Calendly), GoTo Webinar for monthly sales training and quarterly company-wide calls, and GoToMyPC to enable emergency access to office desktops and SmartStation. The GoTo deployment reduced the need for onsite travel, saved time and costs, improved advisor engagement and community interaction, and made it easier for support staff to provide live, step‑by‑step help to less tech‑savvy advisors.
