Case Study: One School at a Time (OSAAT) achieves renovated classrooms and streamlined administration with GoTo Meeting (GoTo)

A GoTo Case Study

Preview of the One School at a Time (OSAAT) Case Study

How one school at a time partnered with mission possible by Logmein & gotomeeting to give students the tools for success in rural India

One School at a Time (OSAAT) is a nonprofit that renovates rural public schools in Karnataka, India to help children stay in school and break the cycle of poverty. The Government Higher Primary School in Kattemalalavadi faced leaking roofs, crumbling walls and poor perimeter conditions, and OSAAT also struggled with unreliable remote communication among staff and volunteers. GoTo (through its GoTo Gives CSR program) partnered with OSAAT and provided GoTo Meeting licenses to help address the communication challenge.

GoTo co‑sponsored construction of four new classrooms via GoTo Gives and supplied GoTo Meeting licenses, enabling reliable video conferencing, screen sharing and information distribution for OSAAT’s pan‑India operations. The project improved learning conditions for over 500 students (with the four classrooms accommodating about 200 students daily), and OSAAT’s schools historically perform ~15% better than the district average; administrative efficiency also rose—weekly review meetings of 30–50 volunteers now run smoothly and project data can be shared in real time thanks to GoTo.
