Preview of the Bennett, Bigelow & Leedom Case Study

How one law firm leveraged GoTo to increase productivity, improve connections and enable safer meetings

Bennett, Bigelow & Leedom is a Washington-based law firm founded in 1983 that represents healthcare clients, hospitals and medical professionals. When COVID-19 and the State of Washington’s “Stay Home – Stay Safe” order made in-person meetings impractical, the firm needed a way to maintain intimate client interactions and quickly shift a varied group of attorneys and staff to remote work. The firm turned to GoTo and its collaboration tools — GoToMeeting, GoToRoom and Central — to address those challenges.

GoTo added licenses and enabled GoToMeeting for hearings, depositions and real-time screensharing (which, as Director of Practice Support Heather Munday noted, “cuts out 9,000 e-mails about paragraph 12”), used Central to deploy laptops and bring the entire firm online within a week, and provided GoToRoom for conference-room quality video. The result was HIPAA-compliant, secure virtual meetings with increased productivity and efficiency, fewer misunderstandings, improved client connections, and a rapid, measurable transition to full remote work thanks to GoTo.
