The Register of Electrical Contractors of Ireland (RECI), the Safe Electric regulatory body that registers, audits and certifies 4,200 contractors serving 1.9 million residential electricity consumers, needed to replace its fragmented phone system with a unified platform to better connect office, home and field teams and reduce reliance on email and separate messaging. RECI chose GoTo’s cloud-based communications solution, GoTo Connect, to combine telephony, mobile and video conferencing and to future‑proof its digital service delivery.

GoTo, working through partner Bytek, implemented the Contact Center version of GoTo Connect and trained staff ahead of the 4,200-member subscription renewals to avoid service disruption. The platform delivered secure remote working, unified messaging, real-time analytics and faster call routing—improving responsiveness, reducing callbacks and helping RECI maintain higher, more consistent service levels for its members and the consumers they protect.
