A GoTo Case Study
Fraser Public Schools, a K–12 district serving about 4,800 students in Fraser, Michigan, faced the sudden need to move teaching, staff meetings, board communications and community engagement online as COVID-19 forced school closures. To ready more than 300 teachers, staff and board members — many new to virtual instruction — the district adopted GoTo’s Emergency Remote Work Kit, specifically using GoTo Meeting and GoTo Webinar to maintain instruction and district operations.
GoTo helped Fraser quickly roll out virtual training and district-wide sessions; teachers used GoTo Meeting for lessons, check-ins and parent conferences while GoTo Webinar supported large presentations and events. The impact was immediate and measurable: in three weeks 315 teachers and staff held 3,000 GoTo Meetings with 20,000 attendees totaling over 78,000 meeting minutes, with 95% of organizers using GoTo Meeting weekly — improving student connection, enabling remote instruction for quarantined students and even simulcasting graduation.
