Gotoconnect Improves Customer Service, Enables Flexible Working and Supports Expansion at Ems Copiers

EMS Copiers, a managed print-services provider founded in 1970, faced a failing on-premises VoIP system (in use since 2009) that had become unreliable and hard to update as the company expanded. After Duotone introduced them to GoTo, EMS Copiers evaluated and selected GoTo Connect, GoTo’s cloud-based phone system, to replace the legacy setup.

GoTo implemented GoTo Connect in July 2020, porting numbers, provisioning 15 seats (later expanded by five) and supplying compatible desk phones, while guiding EMS Copiers through the rollout. The move gave staff the ability to make and receive calls anywhere via desk phones or the app, enabled smooth remote working during COVID-19, reduced missed calls and improved customer service, and delivered predictable billing and a shared minutes allowance — tangible benefits made possible by GoTo.
