Land Use Consultants (LUC), an award‑winning environmental consultancy with 280 employees across the UK, needed a single, integrated communications solution after the pandemic exposed issues with using Microsoft Teams for meetings alongside a separate hosted telephony system. Working with SaaSCom, LUC selected GoTo and its GoTo Connect platform to deliver a Teams‑centric telephony solution that would fully integrate with the existing Teams interface.
GoTo implemented GoTo Connect so Teams remains the user interface while GoTo powers the telephony, onboarding LUC smoothly and supplying 250 GoTo Connect licenses under a five‑year contract. The change consolidated communications into one application, added an intuitive graphical dial‑plan that empowers non‑IT staff, and cut costs by about £3 per user per month — roughly £840 per month (≈£10,080 per year) across 280 employees — while improving reliability and customer interactions.
