ESI Technologies, a supplier of process equipment for the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, needed to increase the flexibility and speed of its communications to better serve its customers. As part of a wider IT upgrade, the company explored VoIP options and partnered with vendor GoTo through its reseller Fortay Connect.

The solution implemented was GoToConnect, a cloud-based telephony system from GoTo. This provided ESI Technologies with a bespoke solution that automatically forwards unanswered calls to standby receptionists or mobile phones. As a result, customers are always able to speak to the right person and staff can receive and make calls from anywhere, ensuring more responsive and efficient service delivery.
