Sigma Sport, a global retailer for cyclists and triathletes, wanted to find and better engage customers with high lifetime value. The team saw that many returning visitors started on the homepage, but very few used the homepage carousel to browse brands, so they needed a more personalized website experience. They worked with Google Marketing Platform using Google Optimize 360.

Google Marketing Platform and its agency partner Merkle | Periscopix used Google Optimize 360 to personalize Sigma Sport’s homepage carousel for returning visitors based on Analytics audiences, showing products from brands they had previously viewed or purchased. The test delivered a 28% increase in revenue and a 32% uplift in ecommerce conversion rate, along with gains across the purchase journey including higher carousel CTR, product detail page views, and add-to-cart CTR.
