IKEA, the global furniture retailer with more than 300 stores across 41 countries, wanted to improve return on ad spend, grow store visits, and reduce the time spent on account maintenance. Working with Google Marketing Platform, IKEA and its agency iProspect used Google Search Ads 360 to create more efficient search campaigns across a large product catalog.

Google Marketing Platform helped IKEA segment accounts by device and geography, use Smart Bidding labels, web query reporting, automated remarketing modifiers, and adaptive shopping campaigns tied to ROAS. The result was a 68% increase in return on ad spend, a 114% increase in online revenue, and a 232% increase in store visits, while also reducing cost per click by 38% and streamlining reporting and optimization work.
