Qantas, one of Australia’s leading airlines, wanted to make better use of its Programmatic Guaranteed buys and serve more relevant display creative to existing customers, especially frequent flyers. Working with Google Marketing Platform and using Display & Video 360, the airline aimed to move beyond generic, one-size-fits-all ads and deliver more personalized messaging to different audience groups.
Google Marketing Platform helped Qantas run tailored ads across high-traffic sites using Display & Video 360’s Audiences module and dynamic creative. The campaign delivered strong results, including a 0.5% CTR for personalized ads versus 0.1% for generic creative, a 57% lift in CTR, and a 170% increase in conversion rate.
