At Pegasus Airlines, Flex sales soar 22% with Google Optimize 360

Pegasus Airlines, Turkey’s leading low-cost carrier, wanted to improve its digital user experience and increase sales of supplemental products, especially its Flex add-on that lets customers make unlimited ticket changes. Working with Google Marketing Platform partner Hype, the airline used Google Analytics to identify bottlenecks in the conversion funnel and prepare for testing.

Using Google Marketing Platform’s Google Optimize 360 integrated with Analytics, Pegasus Airlines ran a multivariate experiment with more than 20 variations of headlines, descriptions, labels, and prices. Google Marketing Platform helped identify the winning combination, delivering a 22% increase in Flex sales over a 35-day test with 869,000 visitors, and reducing A/B test setup time from a week to just two or three hours.
