Avaya partnered with Google Cloud Platform to deliver Customer Engagement OnAvaya powered by Google Compute Engine as a subscription service, and introduced Avaya Agent for Chrome to turn Chromebooks into low-cost contact center desktops. The result: much faster provisioning (months to weeks or days), easy scaling for peak demand, simplified remote-agent setup (Chromebook + headset), and broad availability through certified partners.
