Medibank established the Medibank Health Research Fund (MHRF) to accept tax-deductible donations from employees and the public but did not want the ongoing administrative, reporting and compliance burden of running a public ancillary fund. To address this, Medibank engaged Good2Give — its Workplace Giving provider since 2011 — to develop an outsourced trustee and administration solution.

Good2Give became Trustee of the MHRF and now manages the fund’s administration, reporting and governance, including donations, receipts and regulatory compliance. By using Good2Give’s trustee/administration services, Medibank can focus on identifying, selecting and monitoring research via its Health and Research Governance Committee while streamlining operations, accepting tax-deductible donations without added internal overhead and significantly reducing administrative and compliance workload.
