Les Mills, a global fitness company licensing programmes to over 17,500 partner clubs, needed a more efficient way to take recurring payments across the UK, Sweden, Germany and other European markets. Their previous Direct Debit setup required extensive manual administration and bulk bank uploads, so Les Mills turned to GoCardless’s online Direct Debit solution to unify and simplify its UK and European payments landscape.

Les Mills built a Magento integration with GoCardless to support three Direct Debit schemes in one integration, automating SEPA sign-ups, cutting manual admin and saving development costs. The GoCardless API and dashboard made the integration straightforward, and the impact was measurable: roughly 1,800 UK customers now use Direct Debit and about 2,600 German Direct Debit customers were migrated to the new GoCardless setup.
