GoCardless implemented its Direct Debit solution via a simple API that plugged into Smart Pension’s Ruby on Rails platform, with support getting them live in under a week. The GoCardless integration delivered 100% accurate transactions, significantly lower payment costs compared with credit or Visa card processing, and automated payment collection so the team no longer had to manage payments manually.
