Case Study: TeamUp achieves seamless Direct Debit integration and reliable recurring payments with GoCardless

TeamUp, a fitness business management software serving thousands of fitness professionals, faced the challenge of offering reliable, subscription-friendly payments beyond credit cards. To serve UK subscription-driven customers and remove payment friction, TeamUp turned to GoCardless and its Direct Debit solution, building a GoCardless Pro integration via the GoCardless API.

Using GoCardless, TeamUp’s developers delivered a fully integrated Direct Debit system in about six weeks (built with the Python library), eliminating manual reporting and improving payment reliability and value for customers. The GoCardless platform and support let TeamUp extend its product (including franchise revenue-share workflows) and provide scalable, frictionless recurring payments for its users.
