Stripe - Customer Case Study

Stripe, the global payments platform, wanted to strengthen security and improve developer workflows as it scaled its engineering organization. To support its open source–driven culture while protecting critical source code, Stripe turned to GitHub Enterprise Server for its source control needs.

GitHub implemented GitHub Enterprise Server in Stripe’s private data center, helping the company centralize development on one repository, connect teams worldwide, and collaborate more efficiently. Stripe migrated more than 600 private repositories, including its highest-traffic Ruby monorepo, and now manages over 160,000 pull requests and nearly 10 years of commit history there—boosting velocity, enabling easier testing and sharing, and supporting a strong open source community around Stripe’s public repositories.
