Five9, a leading provider of cloud contact center software serving more than 2,000 customers worldwide, needed better observability across its hybrid cloud environment spanning AWS, GCP, and multiple datacenters. The company had to reliably monitor voice and data traffic while sending it to specialized monitoring tools that lacked cloud equivalents, and it turned to Gigamon for help.
Gigamon extended Five9’s existing datacenter visibility strategy into the cloud using GigaVUE TA Series edge packet brokers, Gigamon network TAPs, and GigaVUE-FM fabric manager. This created a centralized, PCI-compliant “single pane of glass” for monitoring across regions and sites, improving traffic visibility and simplifying operations so Five9 could keep its cloud-powered contact center services running effectively.
