A Get Satisfaction Case Study
TED-Ed, the education initiative from TED, needed a way to move beyond one-way video consumption and create a space where educators, students, and lifelong learners could engage in meaningful conversation and co-create content. TED turned to Get Satisfaction to launch a community for teachers and other members of the TED audience to share feedback, discuss ideas, and participate more directly in the TED-Ed experience.
Get Satisfaction implemented a prominent TED-Ed community on the site’s main navigation and helped TED seed early discussions with champions and staff participation. The community became a collaboration engine that improved engagement, supported SEO, and led to new lesson ideas; one lesson developed through the community reached 1.1 million views in its first three days.
