Genpact worked with a multinational financial services corporation that provides merchant financing loans to commercial customers. The company needed to speed up its commercial loan origination process, which was taking an average of 13 days from application to funding, and improve customer experience and transparency across a complex, global workflow.
Genpact used site visits, workshops, interviews, and process mining to build a Digital Twin of the end-to-end loan process and identify bottlenecks, rework, and exceptions. Based on the analysis, Genpact recommended changes such as earlier document collection, e-signatures, exception tracking, better training, aligned working hours, AI-enabled risk assessment, and real-time monitoring; the goal is to reduce time to fund from 13 days to just 2 days.
