Global Bank, a global bank with more than $700 billion in assets, needed a roadmap to transform its commercial lending function into a best-in-class capability. Genpact supported the bank with a digital consulting and process assessment approach tailored to commercial lending.

Genpact used its Commercial Lending Smart Enterprise Process (SEPSM) framework to assess the end-to-end credit process and develop solution options across people, process, and technology. The roadmap included intelligent automation such as NLG for credit memos, Cora LiveSpread for financial spreading, and RPA for prospect profiling and workflow automation. Genpact’s recommendations were expected to increase relationship manager prospecting time by 30%, reduce time to close by more than 50%, improve credit process efficiency by 40%, and deliver more than $20 million in annual impact.
